Coach Hoffeld, you helped to turn this boy into a man. You were a man of dedication, patience, family, community, humor and kindness . . . and a real inspiration to me. God will bless you and your wonderful family.

I wasn't the most athletic kid at Madeira, maybe the least, but I do remember having fun in his gym class.

I have always held an opinion of Coach as being a good man, I remember him kindly, and I celebrate how God has allowed his life to touch mine.

To the Hoffeld Family-

"Let your heart not
Overflow with your pain
But seek out the joy
In the memories that remain
Remember that your loss
Is yet heavens gain"

All of our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. I will never forget all the great memories of the vacations to Pompano Beach and riding in the backseat of Bill & Shirley's car on the way down there. May God bless all of you.
