BLANCHARD, "Lucky" Cleo, 83 of Montgomery passed Sunday Sept. 21, 2008. Husband of the late Gracyanne Kolassa Blanchard. A WWII Bronze Star Veteran and Past Master Mason of the Marimount Masonic Lodge and member of the Scottish Rite. Mr. Blanchard retired as Vice President of Marley Cooling Tower Co.
Survivors include two daughters, Waka Blanchard and Judy Wilson. One son, Ronald Blanchard. Seven grandchildren, Mark, Terri and Melinda Pendleton, Karen Blanchard, Zara, Zan and Perry Pink. One sister Doris Wolford. Special freind, Virginia Shreiber.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday Sept. 24, 2008 at 7:00PM at the Strawser Funeral Home, Blue Ash, OH. (513)791-7203. Visitation will begin at 6:00PM. Masonic and Scottish Ring Rite services to begin at 7:00PM. Entombment will be at the Oak Lawn Cemetery - Sturgis, MI. Thursday Sept. 25, 2008 at 1:00PM. Donations to Hospice of Cincinnati. Dear Family,
We were sad to hear about the loss of Uncle Lucky yesterday. I have fond childhood memories of flying in his plane and visiting at his house. He was such a fun person for me to be around! I was glad that, as I teenager, I got to live closer and see him more often.
Mom was here in Utah visiting when we heard the news, and she is sad to be the only one of the brothers and sisters left.
