Murray, Donald Charles, 83 yrs., husband of Ellen Coulter Murray, father of Melinda (Irwin) Simon, Philip (Judy) Murray and Bruce (Pamela) Murray, grandfather of Julia Murray, brother of Ruth Deibold, also survived by nieces and nephews in the Deibold and Portz families. Don served in the rocket section of the US Army in WWII and then graduated from the University of Michigan. He and Ellen were married on Flag Day in 1947. Don was in the first group of engineers who came to Cincinnati in 1948 to open the General Electric Evendale plant and spent 38 yrs. designing better jet engines. After retiring, he and Ellen lived in Durango, CO and Green Valley, AZ enjoying the mountains and desert. Mr. Murray died Tuesday July 12, 2005.
